Swp.gg Shield

Our promise: every partner listed on swap.swp.gg includes Swp.gg Shield cover up to $1,000 — subject to the exclusions below.

What is covered

If you complete a swap through swap.swp.gg and the partner fails to deliver, or holds funds solely to demand KYC and will not refund, we mediate with the partner. If that fails without a valid compliance reason, we reimburse up to $1,000 USD of the cover locked when you created the swap.

Shield badges appear on all exchange partners in the rate list.

What is NOT covered

  • Legal / court / law-enforcement orders — freezes, holds, or seizures under a court order, warrant, police request, or similar legal process
  • Illegal activity — any funds or swaps tied to illegal activity
  • Stolen funds — freezes because funds are reported or flagged as stolen, scam proceeds, or otherwise illicitly obtained
  • High AML risk scoring or partner AML policy blocks
  • Mixers, tumblers, or sanctioned addresses (e.g. OFAC)
  • User error (wrong address, network, or asset)
  • Claims filed more than 4 weeks after create
  • Amounts above the $1,000 cover cap

How to claim

  1. Contact support within 4 weeks with your swap ID and a short explanation (email via swp.gg/contact).
  2. We mediate with the exchange first.
  3. If unresolved and exclusions do not apply, we process reimbursement up to $1,000.
